SHOPS ACTS.
During the year 106 visits were paid to shops within the
District, and on no occasion was it found necessary to take any
formal action.
FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1938.
This is the first complete year since the administration of the
general provisions as to Food and Drugs under the above Act was
undertaken by the District Council, the work previously being
carried out by the County Council.
99 Formal and 104 Informal Samples were taken during the
year. Of these 1 formal sample and 3 informal samples were reported
as being not genuine.
