ORTHOPAEDIC CLINIC
Mr. H. A Oatley, the Orthopaedic Consultant, is also on the medical staff of Whipps
Cross Hospital and all cases requiring hospital investigation or treatment were referred
to his clinic at that hospital. This co-operation is invaluable as it ensures continuity
of treatment under the same specialist
During the year the under-mentioned number of children were referred to the various
departments at the Hospital,,
32 Radiological investigation
2 Physiotherapy
14 Operative treatment
52 Fitting of surgical appliances
AURAL CLINIC
Mr.C.J.Scott, our Ear, Nose and Throat Consultant, died suddenly in 1959. He had
always been co-operative and helpful and we much regret his passing.
Owing to his death there was some difficulty in arranging for consultations and
there were no clinic sessions on three occasions in 1959 Although the number of cases
seen is small, it is found to be a useful adjunct to the doctor's consultations clinic.
