PHYSICAL CONDITION
The number of children reported as unsatisfactory is small, though it is 18 more
than last year, 1.4% of those examined as against 1% in 1958 Half of the cases were
seen at entrance examination. Some reported were in the type of family who never
attends the Infant Welfare Clinic and who are a cause of anxiety to the Health Visitor.
These cases often improve when school dinners and school milk can be given and the fact
that the child is out of a rather poor home, ill-ventilated and lacking in ordered
