Special Eye Clinic.
The Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon had referred by the
Clinic Medical Officers 49 pre-school children, who made 87
attendances for examination and treatment.
The following conditions were found:—
Hypermetropia with squint 31
Squint only 5
Epicanthus 5
Ptosis 2
Convalescent Home Treatment.
Children.
Twenty-one children recommended by the Clinic Medical
Officers were sent to Convalescent Homes.
Mothers and Children.
Arrangements were made for nine mothers and their children
to have a period of convalescence.
