MENINGITIS.
Three persons were notified to be suffering from meningococcal
infection; and were admitted to hospital. As the result of a
post mortem examination by H.M. Coroner, one infant (aged ten
months) was found to have died from acute meningococcal infection.
TUBERCULOSIS.
Notifications.βOne hundred and fourteen patients were
notified for the first time in 1951 as suffering from tuberculosis. The
number was made up as follows:β
