Special Eye Clinic.
During the year the Council's Ophthalmic Surgeon (J. D. Magor
Cardell, M.B., F.R.C.S.) had referred to him by the Clinic Medical
Officers 59 pre-school children, who made 94 attendances for
examination and treatment.

Convalescent Home Treatment.

Children.
During the year 1 child, recommended by the Clinic Medical
Officers, was sent to a Convalescent Home by the Maternity and
Child Welfare Authority through the agency of the Invalid
Children's Aid Association.
Nursing Mothers.
Arrangements were made for twelve mothers and their babies
to have periods of convalescence following confinement.
