Orthopaedic Treatment.
Primary Examinations.—During the year 13 children were
referred from the Infant Welfare Clinics to the Council's Orthopaedic
Surgeon.
Re-examinations.—In addition to the 13 new cases mentioned
above, 29 children under five years of age attended for re-examination
by the Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Treatment.—Fifty-three children made 253 attendances for
special treatment by the Council's Masseuse (Miss Findlay).
Provision of Surgical Appliances.—Thirty-four children
were supplied with surgical appliances on the recommendation of the
Orthopaedic Surgeon.
