MEAT.
Slaughter - Houses.—There are six licensed slaughterhouses
in the Borough, and 47 inspections of these slaughter
houses were made.
Twelve pigs were inspected and found to be free from disease.
English meat sold by retail within the Borough is from animals
slaughtered at Regional slaughterhouses which are situated outside
the Borough.
