A similar improvement was noted during the last War and
seems to be connected with this decrease in sugar consumption
together with a more plain diet.
Statistical tables appended show the amount and nature of
treatment carried out during the year.
Orthopaedic Clinic.
Following the destruction by enemy action of the Orthopaedic
and Artificial Sunlight. Clinic Centres at Knotts Green Special School,
arrangements were made for the clinics to be held at Leyton Green
Health Centre ; and sessions have been held there regularly since
March, 1941. The following figures show the number of school
children examined and treated during the year.
