PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DEFECTIVE CHILDREN.
Mental Defective Children.
Statutory Medical Examinations.
During the year, some 61 children were referred for statutory
medical examination.
As the result of examination these 61 children were classified
as follows:—
Idiots 1
Imbeciles 2
Moral defectives 0
On attaining 16 years of age—for supervision under
the M.D. (Notification of Children) Regulations 2
Certified to Local Education Authority as feebleminded

Borderline cases—to be re-assessed in six months 11
