The total number of attendances was 403. The average
attendance per session was 11.8—with a maximum of 19 and
a minimum of 5.
Free medical prescriptions were issued in 37 cases at a total
cost of £5 6s. Od. ; and 51 prescriptions were issued for payment
by the patients.

SMALLPOX.
During the year 1938 no case of smallpox occurred in the area.
ENTERIC FEVER.
No case of enteric fever occurred during the year.

SCARLET FEVER.

From these figures it will be seen that during the last five years
there has been a progressive fall in the incidence of scarlet fever.
