Repair of Unfit Houses.
A notice in respect of 40, William Street, which was served
last year under Section 17 of the Housing Act, 1930, was completed
by the Local Authority in default of the owner.
In three instances it was found necessary to take legal proceedings
for non-compliance with a notice served to remedy a nuisance
in accordance with Section 94 of the Public Health Act, 1875.
(1) A summons against the occupier of a house was adjourned
for one month and subsequently withdrawn on the
necessary work being carried out.
