TUBERCULOSIS.
112 deaths occurred from all forms of Tuberculosis, representing
a death-rate of .9 per 1,000 of the population. The
corresponding figures for Pulmonary Tuberculosis were 94 and .73.
Notifications of 168 cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and 48
of other forms of Tuberculosis were received during the year.
These cases were attended to by the Tuberculosis Officer or
his staff and verbal and written instructions given as to the
necessary precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of the
disease.
Dr. Charlotte Brown attends at the Tuberculosis Dispensary,
ISO, High Road, Leyton, on:
Mondays 2.30—4.30 p.m.
and Dr. John Sorley on:
Thursdays 10.0 a.m.
,, 6.0—8.0 p.m.
Fridays 2.0—4.0 p.m.
