BAKEHOUSES.
The bakehouses in the district have been frequently visited
during the year. The majority are kept in a very satisfactory
condition ; where necessary, notices have been served as regard
uncleanly or other insanitary conditions.

MORTUARY.
During the year the number of bodies received was 58.
There were 45 post-mortems and 56 inquests held.
PETROLEUM.
29 licences were issued after inspection as to the suitability
of the premises.
