SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
The Slaughterhouses are visited regularly, and at any odd
times when it is known that slaughtering is being carried on.
We find that generally the bye-laws relating to them are well
observed.

DAIRIES, COWSHEDS, AND MILKSHOPS.
The number of dairies, cowsheds, and milkshops on the
register for the year ended December 31st, 1919, was 100.
There are at present 4 cowsheds in use in the district; these,
together with the dairies and milkshops, are visited periodically,
special attention being given to the cleanliness of the premises and
general sanitary conditions.
