Our death-rate from Diarrhoea and Enteritis under two years
was 11.7 per 1,000 births.
CEREBRO-SPINAL MENINGITIS.
1 case of Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis has been notified during
the year. This case terminated fatally.

No rigidity, no Kernig, some chronicspasm. No history of being in contact with any case of C.-S.M. A brother-in-law, stationed at Aldershot, came home on leave on the 10th April, also March 13th. He had not heard of any cases at Aldershot. No bacteriological examination. House disinfected.
