EYE CLINIC.
On his work in the Eve Clinic during the year Dr. Cummings
writes as follows:—
I have the honour to present the Second Annual Report of
the Ophthalmic Department.
During the past year there has been a greater interest taken
in the work of the eye clinic by the parents than in 1914, although
in a few cases children have not been allowed to complete the
course. The increase of mixed astigmatism compared with 1914
has been very marked in the 436 cases tested by me. There were
12 cases of corneal ulcer, and its resulting condition of irregular
astigmatism, 6 cases of marked amblyopia, and several cases of
choroiditis, nystagmus, conjunctivitis, etc.
