General character of the defects found to
exist in the dwelling-houses inspected Leaking drains ; broken
lating pipes; w.c. flushing
cisterns and pipes out of order ;
cracked and broken w.c. pans ;
broken, cracked and porous
scullery sinks and waste pipes ;
leaking roofs; absence of, or
broken paving around houses ;
holes in plaster of ceilings and
walls; damp walls ; want of
ventilation under ground floors;
general uncleanly conditions.
