"The arrangements were all carried out satisfactorily, and
in every case good reports were received of the homes to which
the children were sent.
"It is earnestly hoped that many more subscribers will be
added to the list, and that next year the Committee will be enabled
to greatly extend its sphere of influence.
"Those who give will be glad to know that practically the
whole of the money goes direct to the object of the givers. All
the work done is voluntary, and apart from the board and
lodging of the children and the railway fares, the only outgoings
are the necessary expenses of postage, printing and stationery.
Great care is taken in seeing that only suitable cases are
helped."
