Norlington Road School.
1. An application was received from Miss Grinter (the Head
Teacher in Girls' Department) for the tops of the Cupboards to
be made flat, to facilitate cleansing from deposits of dust, &c.
The Committee, however, considering the request to be rather of
the nature of a counsel of perfection, declined it. For my own part,
I sympathise with Miss Grinter, and hope the Council may yet see
their way to reconsider their decision. It is in collections of dust
that the microbes of disease lurk, and any attempts to rid the
school premises of dirt and dust are to be commended and
encouraged.
2. Radiator supplied to Class Room II. in the Boys' Department,
one having already been supplied to Class Room I., a room
identical in dimension, &c.
