MORTUARY.
During the year the number of bodies received was 72.
There were 12 post-mortems and 69 inquests held, also in
three cases of emergency the bodies were taken into the Mortuary
until the burial took place.
PETROLEUM.
18 licenses were issued after inspection as to the suitability
of the premises.
DUST COLLECTION.
21,428 tons 7 cwts. of house refuse were removed in 1908
to the Destructor.
