showing the ages in groups and the marital condition of the population
of the District as ascertained at the 1931 Census.
The number of children in the District under 14 years of age
was found to be 260 per 1,000 total population and the corresponding
figure for the whole of the Administrative County was 228 per ] ,000.
The number of persons aged 15 to 44 years in Hornchurch represented
501 per 1,000 total population as compared with 471 per
