During the year 1937 this information was supplied for 2,599
houses which is additional to the 1,584 houses in respect of which
the information was supplied during the year 1936.
Housing Act, 1936, Section 62.
Proceedings were taken under Section 62 of the Housing Act,
1936, against a landlord who after repeated warnings had failed to
enter in several tenants' rent books a summary of the provisions of
Sections 58, 59 and 61 of the Housing Act.
The landlord was convicted in the Court of Summary Jurisdiction
and was fined £5.
