The Milk (Special Designations) Regulations, 1960, replace and consolidate with
amendments the Milk (Special Designation)(Raw Milk) Regulations, 1949 to 1954, and
the Milk (Special Designation) (Pasteurised and Sterilised Milk) Regulations, 1949 to
1953.
Amongst the amendments was one which transferred the issue of Producers' and
Dealers' Licences from this Council to the Middlesex County Council as the Food and
Drugs Authority.
These Regulations came into operation on the 1st October, 1960, in so far as they
relate to Producers' Licences, and on the 1st January, 1961, for Dealers' Licences.
