REGISTRATION OF NURSING HOMES.
In accordancc with tho powers delegated by tho Middlesex County
Council, the local authority continued to exercise the function of the
registration and supervision of Nursing Homes. Regular visits are paid to
each Nursing Home in the Borough, inspectior is carried out end in many
\
instances constructive suggestions are made end acted upon for their improvement.
At the present time all Nursing Homes in varying degrees are finding
great difficulty in obtaining the services of an adequate nursing staff.
One new Nursing Home was registered, and at the end of the year 10 were under
supervision.
ESTABLISHMENTS FOR MASSAGE AND SPECIAL TREATMENT.
The Council continued to be responsible for the licensing and
periodic supervision of these establishaents.
STATISTICAL TABLES.
The Board of Education Statistical Tables will be found at the
end of this Report.
