CO-ORDINATION
With
(a) Infant and Child Welfare..—
The School Medical Officer is also Medical Officer of
Health and the Assistant School Medical Officer is Medical
Officer to the Maternity and Child Welfare Centres.
When children coming- within the scope of the
Maternity and Child Welfare Service go to school, their
records are carried over to the School Medical service, and
there is no break in the continuity of supervision. To a
great extent they are under the supervision of the same
nurse and the same Medical Officer both before and during
their school life.
The co-ordination may thus be said to be complete.
(b) Nursery Schools.—
There are no Nursery Schools.
(c) The care of debilitated Children under school age,
{See under A).
