At the end of the year there were two houses unfit for
human habitation remaining on the books of the Public Health
Department, Closing Orders were made in respect of these
during 1924. Legal proceedings were instituted under the
Housing, Town Planning Acts and in one instance the
premises were vacated. In the remaining instance the
premises have not been vacated.
