EIGHTH ANNUAL REPORT
on the
Medical Inspection of Children
(Year ended 31st December, 1915).
Ladies and Gentlemen,—
The Annual Report which I now have the pleasure of
submitting is at the suggestion of the. Board of Education
drawn up in a less detailed form than that of previous years.
It will be noticed that the numbers examined are less than
last year, but a much greater amount of work with respect to
the re-examination of children suffering from defects has been
performed, and in my opinion this has resulted in much
greater benefit to the children themselves.
The following is the list of schools with the number cf
children on the books on the 31st December, 1915, together
with similar figures for the previous year:—
