Improvement Grants.
Only eight applications for Standard Grants were received
and one of these was withdrawn before it had been considered by
the Committee.
Six applications for Discretionary grants were received
and the maximum grant approved in each case.
Moveable Dwellings.
To avoid involving both the Public Health Committee and
Town Planning Committee in this matter and as planning consent
is an essential preliminary to a site licence, the enforcement
of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act, 1960, has
been entrusted to the Town Planning Committee. Consultation
between the Engineer and Surveyor's Department and the Public
Health Department takes place on applications for Site Licences.
