Residential Care for the Physically Handicapped
At the end of the year 16 physically handicapped persons
were accommodated in residential accommodation provided by the
Council, and in addition, 21 others were resident in accommodation
provided by voluntary organisations, the Council being
financially responsible for the cost of maintenance.
Special Aids
The following special aids were issued on loan by the
department to assist physically handicapped persons in their
own homes
