The Principle Epidemic Diseases.
The Zymotic death-rate was 0.39. There were
no deaths from Smallpox. Measles, Scarlatina, Diphtheria
or Whooping Cough, and only 6 from Diarrhoea. Considering
the exceptionally hot and dry summer this
number is very notable.
