DISTRICT OF FRIERN BARNET.
January 24th, 1895.
Gentlemen,
Herewith I have the honour to present my Eleventh Annual
Report on the Health of the District of Friern Barnet. This Report
marks the commencement of a new decade, as well as the disappearance
of the Friern Barnet Local Board and the first year of the regime of the
Friern Barnet District Council. In the pages of the Report will be found
an account of Infectious Diseases; means adopted to prevent such illness;
a record of proceedings taken or advised to be taken to enforce various
clauses of the Public Health Acts, the Sanitary Regulation of Factories,
Workshops and Bakehouses, as well as the Bye-laws of your Board,
together with statistics relating to Births, Deaths and Sickness within
your District.
The London County Lunatic Asylum, Colney Hatch, is treated
throughout my Report as a separate District.
