Course of Evening Lectures at Finchley County School
In conjunction with the Borough Education Officer a course
of evening lectures at the Finchley County School was arranged.
This course, which commenced in the Autumn and continued
into 1953, consisted of ten weekly lectures, each lecture being of
1½ hours duration. The lectures were given by your Sanitary
Inspectors.
Public response was again rather poor, as at the beginning of
the course only seventeen students attended. This number was
reduced to three at the last lecture.
Display of Dog Notices in Food Shops
Notices for exhibition have been supplied to all food shops
in the district, pointing out that the presence of dogs is a danger
to the health of the public.
Byelaws—Section 15 of the Food and Drugs Act, 1938
Copies of the Byelaws have been supplied to all traders in
the district and inspections made to ascertain that the provisions
thereof are being complied with.

In this connection improvements have been carried out, including the following:
