Staff.
This is the last Annual Report I shall have the honour
to submit, owing to my retirement in April, 1939. I, therefore,
wish to take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation
to the principal officers of the Council and to their
staffs for the kindly help I have received from them on every
possible occasion.
During my term of office six Medical Officers of Health
have served the Council and my relationship with all of them
has been of the most cordial character. I am deeply indebted
to Dr. Turner, your present Medical Officer of Health,
with whom I have had the privilege to work for the last
fourteen years, and to his predecessors, for their great kindness,
encouragement and support.
