[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Finchley]

Certificates under Rule 23, 2 (a) of Schedule IV.
of the Code, were granted by the School Medical Officer
in respect of the following schools:—
Holy Trinity Infants, for 4 weeks in May, June
and July.
St. John's Infants, for 2 weeks in June.
Squires Lane Infants, for 3 weeks in July.
Numerous visits to schools were paid by the School
Medical Officer and the School Nurses to investigate
cases of infectious disease and to search for carriers.
The School Medical Officer is informed of all cases of
infectious disease that come under the notice of the
School Attendance Officers.
Individual children are excluded under Article 53b
or Article 57, according to the nature of the complaint
from which they are suffering.
