During the year 1925 the slaughterhouses have been visited on no less than 855 occasions, and the number of animals inspected was as follows:—

The work of inspection was not without tangible
results, as indicated by the following list of diseased or
unsound meat which was detected by your Inspectors
and subsequently destroyed:—
