Bakehouses.
All the Bakehouses were inspected during the year
There are at present in the District three Underground Bakehouses.
After certain structural alterations had been made
these were certified by the Sanitary Authority at the commencement
of 1904 as suitable in regard to construction, light,
ventilation, and all other respects. The minimum require^
ments for the Council's Certificate included provisions against
the entry of ground air and moisture, and provision for ventilation,
light and cleanliness of the premises.
