D(5)j Pet Animals Act 1951
There are 5 pet animals shops in the Borough at which
a wide variety of domestic pets can be purchased.
All the premises are well conducted, and no conditions
contrary to the welfare provisions of the above Act have
been observed.
D(5)k Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act, 1960
Under Section 3 of the above Act, there is only one
conditionally licensed site existing in the Borough. The site
in question consists of one half acre of land on which three
caravans are stationed.
During the year, the area has been free from indiscriminate
caravan squatters.
D(5)1 Hop pickers
There are no hop fields in the district.
D(5)m Rodent control
Two fully trained operatives are employed to deal
with rodent infestations at commercial, private and Corporation
premises.
