Sample 922 (Doughnuts) was reported to be inferior,
containing 0.7% hydro-carbon oil—standard being 0.2%.
A caution was issued and the use of hydro-cardon oil was
superseded by Tea-seed oil.
The Milk Samples averaged a content of 3.48% fat and
8.72% of solids, not fat.

Considerable time and attention has been devoted to the inspection of meat and other foods in shops and stores, and the following were confiscated as being unfit for human consumption:—
