SERVICES
B (1) Child Welfare Services
These services are now administered by the Kent County
Council.
B (2) Maternity Services. Maternity Home—Hainault.
The Erith Borough Council continued the administration
of Hainault Maternity Home on an agency basis until 31st
March 1949, after which date the agency was terminated and
the Woolwich Group Hospital Management Committee took
over administration of the Home.
Below is given a summary of the admissions and births
during the period January 1st—March 31st 1949.
