A (4) i. Infant Mortality
Nineteen infants died before reaching one year of age,
giving an infant mortality rate of 23.9 per 1,000 live births.
The comparable figure for the whole of the country is 32.
Of the 19 children who died, 14 died before reaching the
age of one month, giving a neo-natal mortality rate of 17.6 per
1,000 live births.
