A register is kept of all the factories in the District, and during the year 89 inspections were carried out; as a result the following defects were discovered:—

OUTWORKERS
Eighteen lists containing the names and addresses of 79 outworkers
were received during the year. Five addresses of outworkers
were forwarded to other districts.
No cases of Infectious Disease occurred at Outworkers'
premises in Enfield during the year.
