ADMINISTRATION OF MIDWIVES ACTS, 1902-1936.
At the end of the year 1944 there were fifteen Midwives practising
in Enfield, all of whom were employed by the Council as whole
time Municipal Midwives.
The Midwives were visited regularly by the Medical Officers
and their records and equipment inspected.
