Number of Births notified: 1,100, 85 per cent, of which were
visited.
It was found impossible to re-visit systematically all cases,
but re-visits were paid where considered to be of special importance,
such as First Babies, Twins, Babies Artificially Fed, or likely to be,
Illegitimate, Dirty Houses, Ill-health in Mother or Baby.
