great success; the shortage of housing accommodation has sent in
women who in ordinary circumstances would not have required it,
and they invariably speak well of their treatment on their return
home.
The Motor Ambulance previously referred to has proved to
great service in securing the speedy removal of urgent cases to the
Hostel.
The Health Visitors give special attention to still-births and
infant deaths, and report to me specially on each case.
The following statistics of the work of the Health Visitors will
be found worthy of careful consideration.
