to which must, of course, be added any payment made in respect of
the School Nurses if my suggestion is approved by the Education
Committee.
The scheme adopted by the Council will require to be submitted
to the Local Government Board for their approval.
This scheme appears to me to be the minimum required if the
recommendations of the Local Government Board are to be
followed, and as a result of a series of visits made by myself and
Mr. Munro to various Centres in London, I can recommend it for
your adoption as a commencement and one easily capable of being
enlarged as occasion arises.
My feeling is that in a very short time after the thing is in full
work, a second Health Visitor will be found necessary to carry
it out efficiently.
