Approximately 42 Permanent records have been made,
including recordings of those pupils in the remedial Speech Class in
Stanhope School. A good example of the value of the machine can
be found in the case of "M.C.". The first recording of this pupil
showed a definite stammer and disarthric speech. The recording on
discharge revealed normal speech without stammer and only slight
disarthria under emotional stress.
