Comment.
The number of new patients (205) is greater than the number
discharged in the same period (122) because of the extension of
sessions in September.
Schools.
School departments are visited at the request of Head Teachers
who have been notified that Monday afternoons are reserved for
visiting sessions for therapists.
Waiting List.
The list is higher this year than it has been for some time.
This is due to the extension of the service, children whose names
had been witheld because of the limitations of treatment facilities
have now been referred, but the turnover of patients is as rapid as
is possible in this type of work.
Remedial Speech Class.
The Remedial Speech Training Class was opened in March,
1954, in Stanhope Primary School, Greenford, and we are pleased
to report that it is now established and is progressing satisfactorily.

introduced for regular use in Ealing. It has been used Therapeutically
and also for Permanent Recording.
