MASSAGE AND SPECIAL TREATMENT ESTABLISHMENTS
During 1950 five new licences were granted, making a total
of 24 licensed establishments for massage and special treatment in
the Borough. In addition to these, there were four establishments
granted exemption from licensing by virtue of being conducted
either by medical practitioners or by members of the Chartered
Society of Physiotherapists.
