Measiles Whooping Measles and whooping
rough became notifiable under the Measles and Whooping Cough
Regulation, 1939. The following number of cases were notified:—
Measles 2,330
Whooping Cough 236
There were two deaths from Measles and one death from
Whooping Cough during the year.
The number of cases of Measles admitted to hospital was 35.
Tuberculosis.—The number of cases of Tuberculosis notified during the year and the number of deaths which occurred were as follows :—
